Story
Hi Angels,
Lyla is nearly 3 and she has cerebral palsy. She loves playing with her baby doll, reading books with mummy, cuddles and eating cupcakes. She is funny and lloves to torture her brother and knock over his lego. She loves going to her 'school', CPEC, twice a week. Her therapists have helped her learn how to use a communication book to tell us what she wants to eat and what she wants to play, they have helped her learn how to play with her toys and how to do all the things she wants to do in her own way. She loves her little friends at CPEC who have cerebral palsy too.
We want to help raise money for CPEC, The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre so that Lyla and her friends and all the other kids with cerebal palsy can keep learning how to play and have fun at CPEC.
CPEC's vision is to enable people with cerebral palsy to live life on their own terms with the knowledge, skills and support they require to achieve their goals. CPEC don't get a lot of funding from the government and families pay $6k a year for their kids to attend but we still need to fundraise to cover the costs for each child.
We love CPEC and we hope you will help us raise money to help them keep helping kids.

CPEC (Cerebral Palsy Education Centre)
CPEC is a unique and specialised service for children and young people with Cerebral Palsy and similar conditions and their families. We are the only Centre of its type in Australia and we are recognised around the world for our success in working with children with CP.
We provide physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy to children as well as helping them to access essential equipment they need in their daily lives. Every single child who attends CPEC no matter how severe their disability learns to communicate. If you are switched on but can't tell others what you feel or need life can be very frustrating. Learning to communicate is life changing.
It currently costs $34,000 per child per year to receive the much needed “Learning for Life” education programs from CPEC. The Government only funds $7,900 of this so we rely on generous people making donations to help keep us operating.
Our kids are inspiring overcoming obstacles to perform everyday activities, we need your support to help them live as independetly as possible.
